Following Joe Burrow’s injury, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Jake Browning confidently announces himself to Cincy fans.

The Cincinnati Bengals enter Week 12 with one big question mark: can they survive with Jake Browning at quarterback? Browning will make his first career start against the Pittsburgh Steelers this weekend after star Joe Burrow suffered a season-ending wrist injury.

Since Burrow’s injury, many have written off the Bengals’ chances of making the playoffs. Browning, on the other hand, stays confidence in himself and his ability.

“I’ve won at every level I’ve played at.” “I suppose there’s something to be said for that,” Browning remarked. “I’ve always been referred to as a sneaky athlete.” I’m not sure where the stealthy part comes from… I’ve always been correct. “I’ve never been afraid to let it all hang out,” says Charlie Goldsmith of the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Browning went 8-14 for 68 yards and a score in relief of Joe Burrow against the Baltimore Ravens. The former Washington quarterback enjoyed a winning season in each of his four seasons with the Huskies, finishing with a 39-15 overall record. He passed for 12,296 yards and 94 touchdowns to 34 interceptions as a Husky. He also scored 16 touchdowns on the ground. Despite his accomplishments in college, he must now establish himself in the NFL. Browning has failed to play consistently since going undrafted in 2019 and has mostly remained a backup or on the practice squad.
