Shocking News: NFL world reacts to horrible Bengals news

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Joseph Ossai (58) and wide receiver Tyler Boyd (83) celebrate on the bench with Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Sam Hubbard (94) after Hubbard runs back a stripped ball for a 98-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter during an NFL wild-card playoff football game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Cincinnati Bengals, Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023, at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati. With Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins catching passes from standout quarterback Joe Burrow, the Cincinnati Bengals have one of the strongest wide receiver tandems in the league. Unfortunately for the Bengals, it appears like neither of them will be available for this week’s game against the Houston Texans.

Tee Higgins did not practise on Thursday, according to the Cincinnati Bengals injury report, while Ja’Marr Chase was limited. As Bengals beat reporter Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer notes out, this jeopardises both of their availability for Sunday’s game.

“There has been a lot of injury news around the Bengals:

Tee Higgins is out with a hamstring issue and will not practise on Thursday.
Ja’Marr Chase says his back is ‘OK,’ and he’s playing in his head. It will be a true game-time decision, according to him.

It’s bad news for the Bengals because they could be without their two most explosive offensive weapons, and the NFL world reacted strongly on social media as a result.
