When the final buzzer sounded in Portland on Friday, the Memphis Grizzlies came out as the losers for the sixth straight game. To date, the Grizzlies are the only winless team in the NBA and after suffering their latest loss to the rebuilding Trail Blazers, there was nowhere for them to hide from the heat.

The Grizzlies looked to be in control of the game at first, but a second-half comeback led by Trail Blazers star Shaedon Sharpe ended their hopes of pulling out a win. In the 115-113 loss, Jaren Jackson Jr. led the way with 30 points and 10 rebounds while Desmond Bane finished as the leading scorer with 33 points on 50% shooting. Unfortunately for the Grizzlies, it wasn’t enough to keep up with the Blazers and now all of social media is ganging up to make fun of them.

It’s rare for a team to go this long without a win, but the Grizzlies are making it look easy. In their first six games, the Grizzlies have lost in all sorts of ways, ranging from late-game collapses to completely one-sided blowouts. Their competitors so far include the Blazers, Jazz, Mavericks, Wizards, and Pelicans. Following their most recent defeat, however, the Grizzlies really started getting noticed for their struggles.
