Nottingham Forest are ready to obstruct a player’s January exit – the Reds will be contacted by……

Earlier this week, reports from Greece made it clear that Nottingham Forest midfielder Gustavo Scarpa isn’t doing well during his loan spell at Olympiacos.

It was suggested that even a move back to Brazil would suit him well, as he apparently couldn’t adapt to European football.

Today, we get to see journalist Jorge Nicola speaking about the situation lived by the Nottingham Forest player and the chances of a move back to South America.

It’s said that with Scarpa struggling, Brazilian clubs are indeed expected to make contact with the Tricky Trees and Olympiacos for a January transfer.

That type of move, however, isn’t expected to happen. Nicola claims to have been told by people close to the player that he’s set to stay in Greece at least until the end of the season.

Nottingham Forest are making an attempt to make Scarpa adapt to English football once for all, and are not interested in loaning him out to Brazil so early.

The midfielder’s contract with the Tricky Trees runs until 2026, so that sounds like just the start of a long soap opera.
