According to a journalist, Daniel Farke will bench three players for Leeds United’s Saturday matchup against Huddersfield Town following their disappointing loss to Stoke City last time out.

Given that they play Leicester City at the King Power Stadium the following week in what is probably going to be their hardest test of the season, the All Whites have to win this game.

Under the German, Leeds had been gaining momentum and seeing some encouraging results; however, everything came crashing down at the Bet365 Stadium.

Leeds had a penalty kick opportunity when Patrick Bamford missed it, making it three straight misses from 12 yards out. Even worse was to come when Stoke scored an own goal.

William Jackson wrote for Leeds Live that “Changes will be made this weekend as Leeds look to end the month of October on a high.”

Glen Kamara, Crysencio Summerville, and Dan James were spelled incorrectly by the manager at Stoke, and it appears likely that all three players will return to the starting lineup against Huddersfield.

Leeds are already at the point where, if you’re not playing at your best every week, you’re not in the picture, at least not as a starter, despite the fact that the season is still early.

If Farke wants to close the growing gap to the top two, he cannot afford to play around or give in to any player.
