After losing their past two games, including a humiliating 2-0 loss away at Rotherham United on Wednesday night, Mark Robins’ team is currently in 20th place in the standings.

In the meantime, West Brom is up to sixth. Following a 2-0 victory over QPR earlier in the week, Carlos Corberan’s Baggies team had only lost one of their previous eight games as he just celebrated one year in leadership at The Hawthorns.

Coventry’s season has started strangely so far. Prior to their loss to Bristol City the previous Saturday, they appeared to have turned the corner and were becoming difficult to beat. However, the loss at Rotherham raises doubts.

“West Brom is playing fantastically right now. Corberan is demonstrating his skill as a strategist for the Baggies, despite their still-expanding injury list.

“I think West Brom will win, but it will still be a close and exciting game, so I can’t go against them right now.”

These days, Coventry’s form is a little worrying. Even if the table is crowded, they are still getting used to their surroundings. Few would have predicted that after 13 games, they would be in 20th place.

Conversely, Corberan of West Brom is extracting every last drop from this side. Despite the fact that injuries are decimating their ranks every week, they have been on a strong run and have moved up to the play-off spots.

“Based on performance, I would give the visitors the advantage, but West Brom has also drawn a couple away from home, and Coventry has a history of doing so as well. This one ends level in my opinion.
