PHILADELPHIA, PA — The most remarkable update on certain Philadelphia Eagles players injured in Sunday’s 29-23 overtime loss to the Dallas Cowboys is that there is none.

MRI findings and additional testing on running back Corey Clement (knee) and defensive end Josh Sweat (ankle) were awaited by the team on Monday, according to coach Doug Pederson. Both were injured in the first half of Sunday’s loss, and Pederson said he’ll “for sure” give an update on the two young players at his press conference on Wednesday.

Pederson did provide an update on left guard Isaac Seumalo (pec), who exited the game in the third quarter and did not return. Pederson said Seumalo is “day-to-day,” which implies he might play in this weekend’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Pederson also got the opportunity to address cornerback Jalen Mills’ foot issue, which terminated his season when he was placed on injured reserve on Saturday. Mills suffered an injury in Week 8, and it appeared that he would return at some point this season. However, he was seen using a walking boot last week, and Pederson stated that he was further away from returning to action.

“You know, we were very optimistic that Jalen was gonna get better, and it just wasn’t there,” Pederson said. “Giving him every opportunity each week to continue to rehab and work it out, and it’s just unfortunate that it wasn’t where he wanted to be, where we wanted it to be.”
