The NFL trade deadline is on October 31st, and the Green Bay Packers are in a difficult situation. Do they purchase or do they sell?

They are obviously in a youth movement, but their young players aren’t going in the correct path and have battled more than anyone could have predicted. Their young players make far too many mental errors and too few spectacular performances to demonstrate that the squad should be excited about their long-term potential.

The Packers will play one more divisional game against the Minnesota Vikings at 2-4 before the trade deadline. After a sluggish start, the Vikings are on the rise after a thrilling victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football. Their goal is to defeat Green Bay for the fourth time in a row and take them to their knees. If Green Bay manages to win, though, they might inspire confidence in their group.

Whatever the result, Green Bay may try to add a veteran to strengthen their roster for the upcoming campaign and beyond. With problems all over the field, it is difficult for the front office of the Packers to evaluate Jordan Love and the plethora of other young playmakers with accuracy. Who is truly at fault for their severe offensive difficulties? The assessment procedure will run much more smoothly if they can make improvements in a few crucial areas.

Over the past year or so, there have been more transactions in the NFL, particularly when a veteran and a late-round draught pick are involved. While not every player on the list below will be available for that low of a price, it’s still worthwhile for seasoned players to check. Regarding the others, the Packers will need to assess their long-term goals against the significant draught investment that it will require.

Here is a list of players the Packers may want to trade for in order to go up in the standings for the time being.
