Sad News:The key player for Wrexham has been ruled out of the season till 2024….

Manager of Wrexham AFC Phil Parkinson has given a mixed injury update in the wake of Saturday’s goalless draw with Bromley.

After experiencing similar misfortune in the same match last season, goalie Rob Lainton exited the pitch on a stretcher during the second half at Hayes Lane. Defender Aaron Hayden was replaced at halftime.

Parkinson responded, “We think Rob has broken his wrist, which would be a real blow for him and for us,” when asked about the pair in his post-match interview.

I assume he’s gone to the hospital because I just entered the dressing room and haven’t seen him. It’s regrettable.

“We gave Aaron some medication and he felt okay this morning, but he felt he couldn’t continue at half-time. Aaron hasn’t been feeling well during the build-up.”

The Red Dragons’ eight-game unbeaten streak in all competitions was extended during the victory, and they will play two home games the following week against Halifax Town and Dover Athletic.

(AP) SAN DIEGO — Paul Mullin, a striker and star of the documentary series “Welcome to Wrexham,” was hospitalised on Tuesday night with a perforated lung following a friendly collision with Nathan Bishop, the goaltender for Manchester United.

In the eleventh minute, Mullin was going for a header when Bishop challenged him just outside the box, and the two tumbled down. Mullin was obviously in pain as soon as he gripped his head with his right hand and his left hip with his left. It lasted him almost seven minutes. Mullin was surrounded by medical staff while a stretcher and a cart were brought in, but he ultimately got to his feet and cautiously went away while wearing an oxygen mask with help.

The team was unsure about Mullin’s expected length of absence at the time, according to manager Phil Parkinson, who described it as a little puncture. Ryan Reynolds, who co-owns Wrexham with actor Rob McElhenney, stated that the entire Wrexham community was hoping for a rapid recovery and that “Paul Mullin puts his last drop of blood into everything he does.”
