Newcastle United’s injury list and comeback dates include Sven Botman, Joe Willock, and others.

Following Saturday’s 4-0 victory over Crystal Palace, Newcastle United’s injury situation appears to be improving.

Joelinton returned to the starting lineup after missing two games with a hamstring injury, while Alexander Isak came off the bench just over a week after pulling out of Sweden’s team due to minor groyne tightness.

However, head coach Eddie Howe is still missing some vital players. NewcastleWorld examines United’s current injuries and the estimated comeback dates for each player:

Sven Botman has missed the last five games due to a knee injury, and Howe announced following Saturday’s 4-0 win over Crystal Palace that the Dutchman will be out for another two weeks.Last month, he appeared against Sheffield United. Botman will have been gone for six weeks by the time he returns.

Joe Willock hasn’t played for Newcastle since May, when he suffered a hamstring injury in the season’s last home game against Brighton and Hove Albion.

He was supposed to return in preseason, but he had a setback. The midfielder then suffered a second Achilles injury while recovering last month.

During the week, the former Arsenal player returned to training.

Harvey Barnes will not be able to play again until the beginning of 2024 after suffering a foot injury in the 8-0 win over Sheffield United.

The injury does not necessitate surgery, but the £38 million summer signing will not return to training until late December.

Lewis Miley was diagnosed with glandular fever on Friday and will be out for at least two weeks, according to Howe.
