Callum O’Hare went down holding his right knee in the second minute of Coventry City’s Boxing Day match at Sheffield United.
The Sky Blues star collapsed to the ground after attempting to control a ball that had fallen from a clearance. Despite the fact that he had an opponent next to him, there did not appear to be any touch.
O’Hare attempted to get up and continue, but nearly immediately collapsed on the pitch while the referee stopped play to allow the physio to treat the player. After three or four minutes of analysing the attacking midfielder, the physicians called for the stretcher, and he was replaced by Kasey Palmer.
O’Hare looked in a bit of pain as he was carried off with his arm covering his face as he went down the tunnel at Bramall Lane to be further assessed.
