Following his recovery from a high ankle sprain sustained against Green Bay, Branch returns. The timing of his comeback couldn’t be more ideal, as the Ravens’ fourth-ranked rushing offence will present the Lions’ great run defence with their hardest test to date. In his brief NFL career, Branch has established himself as one of the league’s best run-defending wide receivers. In fact, despite missing two games, Branch has the highest run stop percentage of any wide receiver (DB) and the most defensive stops of any cornerback in the run game (a stop is a tackle that results in a “loss” for the offence) among all CBs.
