Sua Fa’alogo, the standout fullback for the Melbourne Storm, is expected to be placed under lock and key by the team as contract talks are in progress, possibly lasting until the end of 2027.

in the league and has already shown this in the few opportunities he has had to play under the spotlight.

Having made an impression in the Storm’s pre-season trials, especially in a match against the Sydney Roosters, the teenage fullback made his NRL debut in Round 27 of the QLD Cup the following year while Craig Bellamy rested a large portion of his top 17.

Afterwards, after scoring two tries in his NRL debut and holding his own against the might of an Australian Kangaroos team in Townsville last weekend, Fa’alogo was picked in Samoa’s squad for the ongoing Pacific Cup.

He’s been selected to start this weekend in Auckland versus New Zealand, where he’ll square up against Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad, one of the top players in the game.

The young player will gain a great deal of experience from his efforts, and the Storm have already exercised their club option for 2025 to guarantee that he will be signed by the Victorian team for the minimum of the ensuing two seasons.
