Michele Di Gregorio’s representative says the Monza custodian was “flattered” by Nottingham Forest’s interest this summer but will not be leaving Italy anytime soon.
Carlo Alberto Belloni, Carlo Alberto Belloni’s agent, claims the highly rated custodian will stay in Serie A despite the attention. In the summer, Forest and Inter Milan were linked with a deal for Di Gregorio as part of their search for a new number one.

Despite flourishing on loan at the City Ground last season, Dean Henderson was eventually traded to Crystal Palace. A move for Keylor Navas never materialised when he signed on loan from Paris St. Germain and made an immediate impact as the Reds went on to achieve Premier League safety.
Forest eventually signed Matt Turner from Arsenal in the summer, and he has immediately established himself as their starting custodian, while Odysseus Vlachodimos was also brought in from Benfica. Forest reportedly made a bid for Di Gregorio earlier this summer, but the 26-year-old remained with Monza.
“The flattery from the Premier League is nice, but we have decided to renew with Monza, which is the right environment for him,” Belloni explained. “What about Inter Milan?” They never called us back during the recent transfer market.”
