The best midfielder for Bournemout has been declared injured for the year….

The Cherries may return to action this weekend after their scheduled match against the Seagulls was pushed back

After their scheduled match against Brighton was postponed due to the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, Bournemouth seems certain to resume their Premier League season this weekend at Newcastle.

The Cherries’ home game was postponed, along with the rest of the round of top-flight matches and games throughout the EFL, National League, and grassroots, as the nation entered a period of mourning following the passing of its longest-reigning monarch. But given that the Queen’s burial is now set for Monday, September 19, there are also worries over the next games. Tens of thousands of police officers will need to be called in, perhaps from all around the nation, due to the logistics of the event, which will see leaders from around the world fly into London

As a result, maintaining security at athletic events may cause unnecessary stress. It is known that a few games could be postponed, but it would be unexpected if Bournemouth’s trip to Tyneside was among them.

Because of this, interim manager Gary O’Neil will undoubtedly be preparing his team over the next several days with the idea that they will play again on Saturday. However, a number of wounds will have compromised his ability to prepare.

According to O’Neil, the former is expected to be out for “a few more weeks” and that he needs to make more development before he is totally match fit. In regards to the latter, the caretaker manager insisted that his knee setback is not “too significant” but did not provide a comeback date.

While Junior Stanislas has rejoined his teammates in training, the Newcastle game might come too soon for him.

On the winger, O’Neil continued, “We still need to work with him, but it’s good to have him back out there and back with the group.”
