The Premier League produced another weekend of entertainment in Gameweek 3 but as always a handful of players picked up injuries and suspensions ahead of FPL GW4.
Liverpool continue their search for a win in the Premier League after their 2-1 defeat to Manchester United on Monday night, whilst Chelsea were embarrassed at Leeds, losing 3-0 to Jesse Marsch’s side. Manchester City drew 3-3 with Newcastle in a thrilling contest on Tyneside, but both sides suffered injury setbacks that could impact FPL teams in GW4.
Nathan Ake and Callum Wilson both picked up problems on the weekend, whilst Chelsea’s Kalidou Kouliably received a red card against Leeds, ruling him out of the Blues’ GW4 clash with Leicester City. Liverpool picked up no new injury worries against Man United, but Naby Keita was injured in the days before the game, adding to their excessive injury list.
