The Green With Envy team has returned to work after having a week off to enjoy the offseason. I sat down with Grant Williams for a brief conversation during the off-week after he left the Celtics. We talked about Quest Nutrition’s recent generous contribution to his Grant Williams Family Foundation, his love of mentoring, and some lighthearted topics like if he was actually the team’s strongest player.

Williams also discussed his Celtics career’s most difficult times and what he’s been working on this summer to get ready for the Dallas Mavericks’ upcoming season.

There is a lot of catching up to do. When Joel Embiid stated that he wants to compete for championships, either in Philadelphia or elsewhere, he gave the Philadelphia 76ers notice, which sparked the customary [insert superstar] to Boston rumours.

Despite a contract to transfer Malcolm Brogdon as part of the Kristaps Porzingis trade fell through, Steve Bulpett of Heavy stated that Boston is refusing requests about Brogdon’s availability. And ahead of the FIBA World Cup, Payton Pritchard has been selected for the Team USA select team.

In the NBA, a week is a long time since information is constantly changing, even in the midst of the offseason.
