Even though Kyrell Wilson scored a hat-trick for Swansea City Under-21s against Watford, they were disappointed not to have gotten all three points after the 4-4 draw at Landore.
Wilson had given the Swans an excellent start in this Professional Development League match with two beautiful finishes, and it appeared that he would have given them the victory when he finished off his hat trick in the dying moments, but Edward Gyamfi scored his second of the game for Watford, and the score remained level.
The 18-year-old now has seven goals this season in all competitions, including a brace againstHull C ity at the Swansea.com Stadium in September.
Wilson thinks he and his teammates can maintain this momentum moving into Saturday’s Premier League Cup match against Brighton and Hove Albion, even after the Swans’ disappointing loss to the Hornets, who had led 3-0 and 4-3 at home this season.

“We gave it our best effort in the first half, but we needed to maintain that drive after the break.
“Every time we’ve been at home, we’ve been good. Here, we could have been better, but it’s encouraging and motivating for us to have gone so long without losing at home.
“Having a big crowd, staff, and players watch always helps; it gives us a good boost. We wish to continue using that form.
