BirminghamLive’s Rebecca Lowe explores what Unai Emery’s side may do this season in the latest Aston Villa news.

After a solid start to the season, NBC broadcaster Rebecca Lowe believes Aston Villa will win silverware.

Villa moved up to fifth in the Premier League after a 6-1 victory over Brighton at Villa Park on Saturday. Unai Emery’s team has now won five of their last seven games, aiming for another great season.

Villa will be seeking to make amends for their defeat at Legia Warsaw in the Europa Conference League next week. And Lowe believes Emery’s team will win the competition.

“The ceiling is very high,” Lowe told NBC Sports Soccer. “I believe the ceiling contains some silverware.”

“I think he’ll go and win the Europa League, because that’s what Unai Emery does.” Ceiling is probably fifth in the league, in my opinion.

“I’m not sure they did; I was about to say they didn’t score enough goals, but they did.” I’m just not certain they’re missing a few of key players.

I’ll give you two big reasons why we COULD make the top four.
Manchester United and Chelsea, who have occupied two of the top four spots for many years, are both in serious trouble.
We are superior to both of them and can so finish ahead of them.On Saturday, we faced one of the new kids on the block and blew them away as well.
Manchester City, Arsenal, and Liverpool are the only clubs that appear to be in the top four at the moment, although the season has only just began.

We could finish in the top four; there aren’t many teams that are better than us. Yes, based on what I’ve seen so far this season, City and Liverpool. But the Premier League is so competitive now that we could finish eighth. Don’t put money on us.
