Despite “concern” from players, Aston Villa will wear Castore uniforms this weekend.

Despite player protests, Aston Villa’s women will wear the club’s Castore home kit against Manchester United in their Women’s Super League opener on Sunday.

Players on both the men’s and women’s teams have expressed concerns about the quality of the kit and how much perspiration it absorbs.

Villa and Castore have allegedly discussed the problem, but no resolution is expected before the weekend’s games

Villa’s ladies play United on Sunday, while the men play Brighton in the Premier League at Villa Park on Saturday.

“We have similar concerns to the men’s team,” Aston Villa women’s manager Carla Ward remarked.

“I think it was highlighted early in our pre-season from the men’s side and backed up by the women’s.”

“As far as I’m concerned, it’s for the club and Castore to deal with,” she added. My primary concentration must be on the weekend.”

According to the Daily Telegraph, Villa will end their contract with Castore early due to the wet-look shirts.

“We are working closely with the club to address this issue as quickly as possible to meet the standards we expect,” a spokeswoman for the kit provider stated. We’d like to thank the club for their time and support thus far.

“As a proud new British brand, we always hold ourselves to the highest standards and strive to constantly improve the performance of our products.” This entails responding to any consumer issues promptly and with humility.”

Castore uniforms are also worn by Newcastle United, Wolves, and Rangers, as well as high-profile rivals in other sports like as tennis player Andy Murray and the Red Bull and McLaren Formula One teams.
