Inter Milan may be interested in signing Isco, a former Real Madrid and Malaga midfielder, on a free transfer next summer.
According to Spanish news outlet EASTADIO Deportivo, through FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri might be among the clubs interested in signing the Spaniard when his contract with Real Betis expires next summer.
Isco joined Real Betis of La Liga during the summer transfer window.
The 31-year-old had been without a club since departing Andalusian rivals Sevilla following a mutual contract termination agreement. Isco had only recently joined Sevilla during the summer transfer window.
While Isco’s stint at Sevilla, whom he joined on a free transfer from Real Madrid, did not go well, he has had a far better start with Real Betis.
Chilean coach Manuel Pellegrini’s team seemed to have provided the proper environment for the Spaniard.
Inter Milan may be interested in signing Isco on a free transfer next summer.
Isco just signed a one-year contract with Betis this summer.
The 31-year-old’s contract expires at the end of next June.
And, according to ESTADIO Deportivo, Isco intends to fulfill his contract with the Spanish club. He has no plans to leave during the January transfer window.
However, when his contract expires next summer, the Spaniard may hunt for a new team.
Isco wishes to remain in Europe. The former Real Madrid midfielder believes he can still contribute significantly at the highest level and turned down offers from the Saudi Pro League during the summer.
Inter, according to ESTADIO Deportivo, is one of the clubs Isco might sign.
Under the current regime, the Nerazzurri have acquired a predilection for free transfer acquisitions.
Isco made 353 appearances for Real Madrid, earning three La Liga titles and five Champions Leagues.
