Dowell has been out for nearly a month due to a knee injury, but he appears to be on the mend.

Brar, a doctor of physical therapy and a sports scientist, told Ibrox News exclusively about his situation:

“It appears that Dowell is beginning to accelerate his rehabilitation process, which is a good sign.”

“It’s difficult to compare him to Cantwell because we don’t know the specifics of his injury, but the fact that Dowell is progressing is a good sign for his recovery.”

“Expecting him to return over the weekend.”

Danilo, Rabbi Matondo, and Todd Cantwell are the other players expected to miss Wednesday’s cup game against Livingston.

Dowell went to Ibrox this summer and, like the majority of the other new recruits, has failed to settle comfortably.

Michael Beale will be furious with the number of injuries that have occurred in recent weeks, as they have disrupted the team’s momentum.

In other Rangers news, Alan Shearer has made a claim about the club’s Europa League campaign in light of what Gary Lineker just remarked.
