After his first few months on Trentside, Matt Turner has been debating who the best finisher is at Nottingham Forest. He’s spoken about one particular player who frequently surprises him.

In the summer, the Reds signed the custodian from Arsenal. He might cost the club £10 million after performance-related bonuses, and he already appears to be a valuable acquisition.

Turner only appeared in seven games for Arsenal. He was unable to unseat Aaron Ramsdale from the team and was limited to appearances in a couple of cup competitions.

Turner now has the opportunity to push his claim for a starting spot in the Premier League at Forest. He’s been everywhere this season, and now he’s debating who the best finisher is in training.

“Best finisher, we’ve got to do some more finishing drills, but probably Morgan right now,” he told Sky Sports. Right now, I’m thinking Morgan Gibbs-White.

“At least from what I’ve seen. He’s quite intelligent with the way he likes to strike the ball, he’s quick thinking, forward-thinking, and he can catch you off guard.

“I think Callum is going to be one who gives him a run for his money after his finish last week.”

Turner, the Forest custodian, praises Gibbs-White.
This is definitely intriguing. If there is one criticism of Gibbs-White, it is that he should start finding the road to goal more often than he does now.
