Hello and welcome to Wrexham has released its second and third episodes, and fans are raving about one in particular.

Hello and welcome to Wrexham only returned to our screens for its second season last week, but it has already won back many football fans’ hearts.

Last week, we saw Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney ready to meet King Charles III while being brutally honest about Wrexham’s finances, stadium reconstruction, and how the team needed to accomplish League Two promotion. The program also highlighted the club’s arduous efforts to collect £20 million from the UK Government in order to build a new stand in place of the famed Kop.

This week’s episodes, however, take a much more personal approach, and the reaction on social media has been massive as fans have shared their opinions on the latest episodes of the hit show. The second episode, “The Quiet Zone,” focuses on the lives of two families with autistic children: Paul Mullin’s son Albi and Millie Tipping, a Wrexham fan.

During their interviews, Paul Mullin and Millie’s mother, Alison, both get obviously moved as they discuss their children’s experiences, with Paul visibly moved. Millie’s road to becoming a Wrexham AFC superfan is also depicted in the episode, as is her participation in the club’s disability and women’s teams.

The story serves as a sharp reminder of how accessibility is a major challenge at football stadiums across the country, prompting the creation of ‘The Quiet Zone,’ an area where fans with sensory needs can watch a game with conditions such as noise cancelling headphones and a regular routine in place. Many fans have already taken to X, formerly Twitter, to offer their comments, with one poster, @FlemmingCarlson, saying: “The latest episode of Welcome To Wrexham is absolutely beautiful!”

Fans were not only gushing over the latest episodes, but they also admitted to feeling upset while watching. “Well watching the latest episode of Welcome to Wrexham on half an hour of sleep last night was not the best idea, was an absolute wreck watching it,” @Welcome2WxmTown said. It’s so relatable. What a gentleman @PMullin7 is, and what a club @Wrexham_AFC is.”

@jonadevitt wrote on X, “Sat in tears watching Welcome to Wrexham this well.” Millie is a true jewel. I can’t think of a finer representative for our club than her. Incredible”. @IamAkers tweeted, “Welcome to @Wrexham_.”AFC is such a gorgeous show. It sheds light on the part of football that is more essential than the beautiful game, as well as why fans are so devoted to their team. “Excellent work.”

Every Wednesday, new episodes of Welcome to Wrexham will be posted exclusively on Disney+. New and returning customers in the UK may now subscribe to Disney+ for £1.99/month for three months until midnight tonight (Wednesday, September 20), a £18 savings over the standard monthly fee for three months.
