Dr. Rajpal Brar, a specialist in injuries, is a welcome addition to our exclusive writer lineup. He will provide his thoughts on Leeds United’s injury situation every week.
Stuart Dallas, a midfielder for Leeds United, could potentially make a comeback from his injury, according to Dr. Rajpal Brar.
Even if he has been sidelined for a few years, which is a lengthy time, the injury expert argues that it is premature to conclude that he will hang up his boots.
The 32-year-old’s final appearance for Leeds came against Manchester City in 2022, and he remained inactive for the entire 22–23 season.
Physical therapist and sports scientist Brar, who spoke exclusively to MOT Leeds News, described Dallas as follows:
“Dallas sustained a fracture of the ‘femoral’, the largest weight-bearing bone in the body and the thigh bone.
He may have encountered numerous obstacles since his return, in my opinion.
“The injury sounded quite serious when it happened and is quite rare in football, so an extended timeline wasn’t surprising,” the author says. “But now going on two years, it’s difficult to rule anyone out of returning but that’s a long time to be away from the game – you’re losing fitness, confidence, and rhythm as well.”
Dallas has been sidelined for 16 months due to an injury, but Leeds has said they won’t rush him back into play.
He did experience a number of setbacks in overcoming a femoral fracture, as was already mentioned.
He yet continues to assist first-team players and young players at Thorp Arch in a variety of ways while working in the background.
In other Leeds United news, a player from the club will be out until October due to a recent revelation, according to an injury expert.
