GOOD NEWS: West Brom has signed unrestricted free agents after the transfer window closes.

West Brom may sign unrestricted free agents outside the transfer window.

The free agent market is still open for Albion, so BirminghamLive has the most recent West Brom news and opinions.

West Brom fans have already been informed by Carlos Corberan that he may attempt to add players to his roster through the free agent market.

The Spaniard was fairly forthright when he said: “The free players’ market is going to be more useful this year than previous years because some things can happen, that nobody expects, in the next two weeks.” He was speaking after a transfer deadline day that saw the Baggies squad remain in tact.

Albion still faces severe financial difficulties, but the aforementioned comments imply that the club is at least aware of potential deals. We’ve looked at the players released by Premier League and Championship clubs this summer, as well as a select number from around the world, who are still available. Thankfully, the free agent market is strong this year.
