Ogwuru was in the Manchester City squad for four years after being bought by Bolton Wanderers at the age of 14.
While at Manchester City, he represented their youth teams in the Under-18 Premier League, Under-18 Premier League Cup, Premier League 2, UEFA Youth League and FA Youth Cup.
In total, the 18-year-old made 45 appearances in all competitions for Manchester City’s under-18s and under-21s, scoring 17 goals.
Commenting on his time at Norwich City, Ogwuru said:
“It is great to be signed with the club. When the project was presented to me, I felt it was a great opportunity.
“The facilities at the Lotus Training Center are amazing, it really feels like a place where I can grow
“At Manchester City, you learn a lot about football, you understand the game better.”
Ogwuru uses Manchester City academy product Rico Lewis, who played 24 games in the first team under Pep Guardiola, as a model.
