Ianis Hagi is on the verge of leaving Rangers on loan to join Alaves, according to The Athletic.
The news outlet reported on Twitter on Sunday (27 August) that Hagi, 24, will join the La Liga club on a straight season-long loan with no option for a permanent deal agreed.
It is understood that the Romania attacker is scheduled to undergo a medical with Alaves.

Unfortunately, injury has really hampered the Romania international over the last couple of seasons.
Last term, Hagi played just 11 times in all competitions after undergoing knee surgery.
His lengthy rehab process may have led to him dropping out of Michael Beale’s thinking or – what we hope hasn’t happened – the attacker’s ability has severely dropped.
Hagi was left out of the squad that drew with PSV earlier this week and then wasn’t in the squad again against Ross County on Saturday.
Right now, he has no future at Rangers but if he goes away to Alaves and does well, he may still have a career in Govan.

He started off so brightly but did show the signs that he was an unfinished talent who was rough around the edges, was incredibly inconsistent but also capable of doing something magical.
