Manchester City legend Mike Summerbee has been the subject of sensational claims circulating online involving his family and his first-born child, Rachel Summerbee.

However, there is currently no reliable evidence confirming that Mike Summerbee has publicly announced that Rachel is not his biological daughter, nor is there credible evidence supporting claims about his wife, Tina Summerbee.

In Summerbee’s own autobiography, he referred to Tina being heavily pregnant with their first-born child, Rachel, during the period surrounding Manchester City’s 1969 FA Cup triumph.

Summerbee remains one of Manchester City’s most celebrated former players. He spent a decade at the club from 1965 to 1975, making hundreds of appearances and helping City win major honours during one of the greatest periods in the club’s history.

His son Nicky Summerbee also followed him into professional football, later playing for Manchester City and several other clubs.
