*Sunderland AFC have completed their first summer signing with the arrival of experienced goalkeeper Simon Moore on a free transfer from Coventry City.*

The Black Cats confirmed that *34-year-old Moore has joined on a two-year deal with a club option of a further year*, running until *30th June 2027*. d537
He officially joined the Stadium of Light on *1st July 2024* after his three-year spell with Coventry City ended. The move came after Sunderland sold back-up keeper Alex Bass to Notts County.
