Leeds United FC striker Joe Gelhardt has become the subject of significant transfer attention during the current summer window, with several clubs reportedly monitoring his situation.
The 24-year-old forward spent the previous campaign on loan at Hull City, where he enjoyed an impressive spell and helped the Tigers secure promotion to the Premier League. Reports indicate that Hull have been pushing strongly to make his move permanent, while Wrexham and other clubs have also shown interest.
Gelhardt’s future at Leeds has been uncertain, with reports suggesting that he is not part of Daniel Farke’s plans for the upcoming season. His performances at Hull have nevertheless increased his value and attracted renewed attention from clubs looking for a proven forward.
The latest reports, however, point towards Hull City as the leading destination, with a permanent transfer reportedly close to completion. One report says the agreement is worth around £6.5 million.
