Sources: West Brom has make possible agreement to sign Reading star player

West Brom are interested in signing Reading defender, sources have told Football Insider.

The Baggies are looking to strengthen their defensive department and are keen to bring the 23-year-old left-back to the Hawthorns.

Reading have informed senior players, including Guinness-Walker, that they may be sold to raise funds this summer.

Guinness-Walker has been out of the Reading squad for their last two matches, with Matty Carson preferred at left-back by manager Ruben Selles.

He featured regularly in the 2022/23 campaign, playing 1,742 minutes across all competitions at both left-back and left-midfield.

The former Chelsea and Tottenham academy star only joined Reading last summer after a successful trial at the club.

He only signed a one-year contract, but a clause was triggered to keep him at Reading for the 2023/24 season
