Latest Derby County news from DerbyshireLive as Premier League Brighton are said to be interested in Eiran Cashin

The Telegraph report the Premier League Seagulls have seen at least four bids for the 21-year-old defender rejected by the Rams this year, but are undeterred in their pursuit and “remain interested” in completing a deal before the summer transfer window closes.

Derby are understood to be demanding at least £3m and that any deal includes Cashin staying at Pride Park on loan for this season

Paul Warne’s side have suffered defeats to Wigan and Oxford on home soil in the league and were also knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Blackpool at Pride Park.

Their only victory so far came in the league against Burton Albion.

Derby kicked off their League One campaign with a 2-1 reverse against Wigan Athletic. This was followed by a 2-0 loss to Blackpool in the first round of the Carabao Cup.
