The 26-year-old is entering the final 12 months of his contract at Ashton Gate and with no developments in signing a new deal, Town are reported to be one of three clubs considering a move, along with Championship outfit Southampton and Scottish Premier League side Rangers.
Vyner came through the ranks with the Robins in 2015, as following loan spells at Accrington, Plymouth, Rotherham and Aberdeen, has gone on to feature almost 150 times for the club.
He played 51 matches in all competitions last season, and has started City’s three games this term, helping Nigel Pearson’s side earn a 1-0 win at Millwall on Saturday.

Luton are short of defensive options at the moment, as following injuries to Dan Potts, Gabe Osho and Reece Burke, they only have Mads Andersen, Tom Lockyer and Amari’i Bell fit.

Town have seen rumoured moves for Tom Heaton, Asmir Begovic and John Ruddy all fail to materialise, with speculation increasing that boss Rob Edwards has now turned his attentions to Krul, as Football Insider has stated a deal is close to being completed.
The 35-year-old is in the final year of his contract at Carrow Road, having joined the Canaries from Newcastle in 2018.

Krul has been an unused substitute for Norwich’s two Championship affairs so far this term, including Saturday’s 4-4 draw at Southampton, Scotland international Angus Gunn preferred in his place.
Having started his career at Newcastle, where he made almost 200 appearances in 11 years, the Dutchman had spells with Falkirk, Carlisle United, Ajax, AZ Alkmaar and Brighton & Hove Albion ahead of his move to Norfolk.
He has won 15 caps for his country too, representing the Netherlands at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, his last outing coming in June 2021, a 2-2 draw against Scotland.
