Latest Nottingham Forest news from NottinghamshireLive as the Reds are linked with a summer move for Bologna’s Jerdy Schouten
Nottingham Forest “would like to recruit” Bologna midfielder Jerdy Schouten, it is claimed.
The 26-year-old made 36 appearances across all competitions for the Serie A side last season, providing three assists in all competitions for the Italian team.
Forest are said to be interested in Schouten according to claims by Dutch journalist Rik Elfrink. However, it is claimed that they face potential competition from AC Milan and PSV Eindhoven.
A possible transfer to the City Ground could also prove difficult with the player said to favour a move back to his native Netherlands at PSV.
Bologna manager Thiago Motta has previously admitted Schouten is not pleased with his current situation at the club, in a potential boost for the Reds.
