breaking new live burnley made a done deal now for a young star goalkeeper

It’s been a busy week for the under-21s with goalkeeper Harry Moss today becoming the fifth player in the last five days to commit to a new Turf Moor deal.

Brad Grant and Kian Le Fondre signed first professional deals on Wednesday of this week, Will Hugill followed a day later and yesterday Jez Davies was added to that list.

Today, Moss has confirmed his stay at Turf Moor stay until the end of the 2023/24 season having extended his scholarship into a third year.

Moss was signed from Spennymoor Town in May two years ago and he left with their best wishes. His club said at the time: “Congratulations to our under-17 goalkeeper Harry Moss who has signed a two-year contract with Premier League club Burnley Football Club. We are delighted for Harry and his family, this is a fantastic reward for his hard work, dedication and great attitude All of us at Spennymoor Town Youth FC wish Harry the best of luck.”

Unfortunately, injury restricted his game time in that first season but in the season just finished he’s played at both under-18 and under-21 level for the Clarets and can now look forward to another year with the under-21 team.
