Forest are now in talks to over a deal for the 23-year-old although it’s currently unclear whether they would favour a move for Sutalo or Ibanez should both be considered available for transfer.

Director Sven Mislintat flew to Zagreb, Croatia earlier this week for discussions over a deal but he has since returned to Amsterdam and the door remains open for rivals to pounce.
Fiorentina launched an opening offer earlier in the transfer window but Dinamo want at least £20m plus a sell-on clause for their most-prized asset. Napoli have also shown interest.
Sutalo is also believed to be among the names under discussions at RB Leipzig as the Bundesliga club seek to replace Manchester City’s new signing Josko Gvardiol.
The defensive duo have played alongside each other at international level after Sutalo made his national team debut in Croatia’s 2-1 third-place play-off victory over Morocco at the World Cup in Qatar.
Meanwhile, it’s understood Roma have received a proposal worth £21.5m from Forest for Ibanez but incredibly, one of the player’s representatives has recently shot down talk of an offer from the City Ground.
Ibanez’s agent Lodovico Spinosi is said to have declared to TAG24: “It’s just talk, there hasn’t been any offer to the player from the English club.
