Jesper Lindstrom: Who is the Eintracht Frankfurt and Denmark attacker? | Bundesliga

Liverpool and Arsenal are believed to have ‘been in contact’ with Eintracht Frankfurt over a deal for Jesper Lindstrom.

The attacking midfielder, who can also operate as a forward, has been linked with the Reds in the past and has made it known he supports Liverpool.

A latest report from Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet has made clear Arsenal and Liverpool are keen on the 23-year-old.

Eintracht Frankfurt are said to be seeking between €35-40million for his services, a fee that could rise to between €50-55 million as a result of intense competition.

Two possibilities’ for Andre transfer

There will be ‘two possibilities’ for Andre as Liverpool consider a move for the Brazilian.

The Reds today saw a second bid for Romeo Lavia rejected and could soon turn their attention to the Fluminense midfielder should they fail to make progress with Southampton over a deal.

An update from Brazil on Andre has made clear the only way Andre could leave his current club now would be if Liverpool pay €40 million (£34m). The other alternative would be to pay a cheaper price to receive the player next year.

Second Lavia bid rejected

Chelsea reignite interest in Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia

Liverpool have seen a second bid for Romeo Lavia rejected – and have initiated contact with Fluminese over defensive midfielder Andre as they extend their search for engine room reinforcements.

An improved package of around £41million for Belgium international midfielder Romeo Lavia was offered to Southampton.

But it is understood that has been turned down. It remains to be seen if the South Coast club’s continued hardball stance means Liverpool have no option but to meet the full £50m asking price in order to sign the 19-year-old.

Lavia had emerged as Liverpool’s next major target this summer as they look to address a lack of defensive midfield options following the surprise departures of Fabinho and Jordan Henderson to Saudi Arabia.

The Reds saw an opening offer of an initial £34m plus £4m in add-ons rejected by Southampton last week and have since been pondering their next move.

And while it is believed the player has expressed a desire to join Jurgen Klopp’s squad, the Saints are reluctant to compromise on what they believe is an accurate valuation of a player they bought last season from Manchester City for an initial £12m.

Andre ‘contact made’

Liverpool have reportedly made ‘contact’ with Fluminense over midfielder, Andre.

The Brazilian is understood to be an alternative option should the Reds fail in their efforts to recruit Romeo Lavia.

Sky Sports have stated Liverpool have now officially reached out to Andre’s current employers regarding the 22-year-old.
