Dominik Mysterio is embracing his villainous persona with a new neck tattoo.

As part of The Judgment Day faction, Mysterio is one of the most despised stars in WWE today. On July 18th, he captured the NXT North American Championship from Wes Lee with no shortage of help from his allies Rhea Ripley, Damien Priest, and Finn Balor.

During a recent trip to Las Vegas, Mysterio visited Antidote Tattoo’s Oscar and solidified his heel leanings by getting the word ‘Villano’ – Spanish for ‘Villain’ – inked down the side of his neck.

For his part, Oscar said it was an “honour” to tattoo ‘Dirty’ Dom and he “can’t wait” for more visits.

Since capturing the North American Title, Dominik has defended it against the likes of Butch and Sami Zayn. On the July 25th edition of NXT, he and his ‘Mami’, Rhea Ripley, made an appearance but were interrupted by Wes Lee, who wanted a rematch for the championship. They were soon joined by the current number-one contender, Mustafa Ali.

After some back and forth, a Triple Threat bout for the championship was confirmed for the Great American Bash on July 30th.

On that week’s Raw, Dominik and his Judgement Day partner Damian Priest unsuccessfully challenged Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for their Undisputed WWE Tag Team titles; he then went on to defeat Wes Lee for his North American Championship on NXT the following day; and finally defended his newly-won belt against Butch on SmackDown.
