We have completed the season-long loan signing of Wolverhampton Wanderers talented player

The 19-year-old joins us having recently spent time on trial with a view to a loan move, which he completed this morning.

A statement from our board of directors reads: “We’re really pleased to add Ollie to our ranks for the duration of the campaign and would like to thank Wolves for entrusting us with his development.

“We were keen to add another defensive option to the squad and Ollie has all the qualities we look for in that area.

“While we see him primarily as a central defender, his ability in possession means he’s also capable of playing as a defensive midfielder. His versatility could prove crucial over the course of a long campaign and we look forward to seeing how he progresses in his time with us.”

This is Tipton’s first loan move away from Wolves having first joined their academy aged 11.

He went on to establish himself as captain of their Under 18s and Under 21s sides and in March was rewarded with a contract running until 2025.

Having made his senior debut against Crewe in the 202154 Tipton Sports Academy Stock Photos, High-Res Pictures, and Images - Getty Images-22 EFL Trophy, Tipton furthered his experience in the same competition last season as his side progressed through the group stage before being edged out by Manchester United on penalties.
