Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora believes that Masataka Yoshida is the catalyst driving the team’s offensive surge as they kick off the second half of the season. Cora’s confidence in Yoshida’s performance is evident as he praises the outfielder’s recent impact.

“He’s hitting the ball hard,” Cora remarked, according to NESN’s pregame coverage. “We’re very happy with him. If he continues to do this, I was telling Ramon (Vazquez), we have a great offense. When he’s going like this, we’re elite.”

Yoshida has been on fire lately, boasting a .333 batting average since the All-Star break. His recent performance includes a standout four-hit game during Monday’s win against the Kansas City Royals, helping to ignite the Red Sox’s offensive efforts as they face a crucial series in Kansas City.

With Yoshida at the helm of the lineup, Boston fans are hopeful for continued offensive fireworks and potential victories as the season progresses.
