East Carolina University (ECU) Men’s Basketball team has officially announced the signing of guard Jordan Riley from Brentwood, N.Y. Riley, who joined the Pirates this offseason, brings a wealth of experience and skill to the team, having previously played at Temple University.
Riley’s addition marks the third player from New York to join the Pirates this offseason, highlighting ECU’s successful recruitment efforts in the Empire State. During his time at Temple, Riley made a significant impact, appearing in 33 games and averaging 11.9 points and six rebounds per game. His season was highlighted by a career-high 23-point performance against Tulane and four impressive double-doubles, including consecutive double-doubles during the AAC Tournament.
In addition to his on-court achievements, Riley excelled academically, earning Academic All-District Honors from College Sports Communicators. This blend of athletic and academic success makes him a valuable asset to the ECU team.
