LEGEND FINALLY GONE: Lakers lost their greatest weapon to rivals…

The Denver Nuggets eliminated the Los Angeles Lakers from the first round of the 2024 NBA Playoffs, setting up another exciting offseason for the team.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis both had excellent series performances, but the Lakers were unable to overcome adversity and are now confronted with a number of critical issues.

The most significant of all is what will happen to James, who has a player option for the 2024–25 NBA season, which he is anticipated to reject.

James has typically chosen to forego these player options in favour of longer-term contracts, but given that Los Angeles has already lost in the first round, it’s possible that he will go elsewhere.

A significant element that might influence his choice is the outcome for his son Bronny James, who plans to stay in the 2024 NBA Draft.

LeBron was previously candid about playing with his kid, and according to Dan Woike of the Los Angeles Times, several clubs have talked about bringing Bronny in an attempt to recruit him.

According to Woike, “a number of NBA executives have talked about selecting Bronny James in the first round in an attempt to entice his father to join their team in free agency.”

LeBron appears to back Bronny’s decision, as he has toned down the possibility of playing on the same team. Bronny has stated in the open that he is not want to play with his father.

LeBron hasn’t discussed the subject in a while, but it’s undeniable that he will have to give it some thought if the chance to play with his son arises.
