Before the next transfer window opens, Ipswich Town is interested in Millwall attacker Zian Flemming, according to a London News Online source.
The Dutchman is wanted by Ipswich Town this summer as they try to add to their roster after getting promoted to the Premier League. After placing second behind Leicester City in the previous season, the Tractor Boys now have a busy few months ahead of them as they prepare for life in the top flight.

Since joining Millwall in 2022, Flemming, 25, has emerged as a crucial member of the team. His employment with The Den is set to expire in June 2025, but they have the option to prolong his stay in London for an additional 12 months.

According to London News Online, Kieran McKenna’s side has recognised him as a possible target. The San Jose Earthquakes of the Major League Soccer (MLS) were also linked to the Spanish team Alaves this past winter, but nothing ultimately came of it.

Millwall man seen by Ipswich Town
Flemming may provide Ipswich Town’s attacking unit in the premier league greater depth and competitiveness.

To be able to compete at the highest level, they must make sure that their ranks are sufficiently qualified. The fact that Sheffield United, Burnley, and Luton Town—the three promoted teams from 2022—were demoted this season attests to how much of a step up it is.

Under Neil Harris’s direction, Flemming scored eight goals for Millwall during the previous season, helping them maintain their second-tier standing.

Even though he couldn’t match his 15 goals from his first season in England, he still made a significant contribution with a few goals to ensure his team survived.

If Ipswich Town or another team makes an offer for him, the Lions will have to make a significant choice about his future.

Selling him would allow Harris’ team to make room and acquire money to add more players and restock their supplies. They must, however, consider whether it would be extremely risky to allow such a significant person to leave.

His current career
He played with Fortuna Sittard for two years before moving to Millwall a little over two years ago, scoring 27 goals in 63 games for the Dutch team.

The individual was born in Amsterdam and has previously worked for Ajax, PEC Zwolle, and NEC Nijmegen in his home nation.
