In addition to needing a tight end, the Cincinnati Bengals don’t even currently have one under contract.

The Bengals’ lack of depth at tight end continued into the 2024 season, but Cincinnati can address that in free agency.

The Bengals have been matched with Seattle Seahawks tight end Noah Fant, who is expected to be among the best players available at his position throughout the offseason, according to Jared Dubin of CBS Sports.

During his debut season, he participated in every game and performed admirably, hauling in 40 passes for 562 yards and three touchdowns. Fant’s output stalled in 2021, catching 68 passes for 670 yards and four touchdowns, but he did show some improvement in his sophomore year, hauling in 62 receptions for 673 yards and three touchdowns.

Fant was moved to the Seahawks during the next summer, and he made 50 grabs for 486 yards and four touchdowns in his first season there.

Fant is a dependable tight end who might wind up flourishing in Cincinnati’s offence, despite the fact that he has been a bit of a letdown since joining the league.

In the upcoming weeks, we’ll see if the Bengals, who are in need of a tight end, make a move for Fant.
