The Las Vegas Raiders are prepared for the summer after deciding on their coaching staff. The entire regime will be ready to find their next squad building piece with next week’s scouting combine.
During the process, the Raiders will discuss the position of quarterback. Since Aidan O’Connell failed to establish himself as the team’s starter in 2024, there are rumors that the Raiders are trying to move up to pick three in order to get a potential signal caller.
They have to bypass the Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Falcons because they are selecting at number 13. If they select a higher spot, the advantage is that they might receive more offers.
The Raiders choose not to select a quarterback in the most recent mock draft from CBS Sports.Antonio Pierce will like seeing Terrion Arnold’s tape, based on what I know about him. He is one of the smartest corners I’ve seen in the last several seasons, even though he plays like a linebacker in the run game. He simply knows where the ball will end up.
Throughout the process, the Raiders have made fun of Arnold numerous times. We will get a sense of the Raiders’ true intentions at 13 at the Combine. Up until that point, the Raiders typically held at 13 and selected the best player available in mock selections.
