Tennessee quarterback Joe Milton III had a strong final campaign in Knoxville, Tennessee. While he didn’t dispel all the narratives on his accuracy problems, Milton still put together a winning season and made big throws for the Vols throughout the course of the season.

He looked good in practices at the Reese’s Senior Bowl, though he did have a tough outing in the actual game. The story around Milton has always been the same – supreme physical talent with some delivery inadequacies. ESPN got an up-close look at Milton through the Senior Bowl and had conversations with several NFL scouts about where they see Milton ahead of the draft.

“He makes all the throws with the same velocity, and some easy completions get away from him,” said one AFC South scout who saw Milton play several times at Tennessee. Evaluators polled said Milton’s physical stature and his arm strength, however, would be enough for a team to draft him on Day 3. Milton completed 64.7% of his passes with 20 touchdowns and five picks in his final season.” ESPN on Joe Milton III
