Since receiving his first SEC scholarship offer from the Vols more than ten months ago, Onis Konanbanny has had nothing but praise for Tennessee. On his initial visit to Knoxville in March, they entered the race on his behalf, and he hasn’t stopped hearing from them since.

Tennessee remains one of the universities actively pursuing his recruitment. Tennessee was among the top 10 colleges that the four-star cornerback in the Class of 2025 from Columbia, South Carolina’s Heathwood Hall Episcopal School revealed earlier this month. He added that the Vols and North Carolina had been the two teams recruiting him the hardest in recent months.

Tommy Ashley of Inside Carolina discussed North Carolina’s 75-68 victory over Florida State on The Postgame. After the Tar Heels secured their 10th consecutive victory and a 9-0 start to ACC play, these are his five main observations.

‘DIFFERENT’ UNC TEAM DUE TO HARRISON INGRAM

“Ingram Harrison. The guy outrebounded that Florida State squad by 17 rebounds. Cormac Ryan was the only other Tar Heel with more than five. What a fantastic effort that young man made. He doesn’t need to be the center of attention because he gives this North Carolina team everything he has. That Florida State team, I’ve seen them up close. It is impossible to undervalue these guys’ length. However, Ingram employs his body in a traditional manner,

“Elliot Cadeau’s ability to get into the lane and finish is impressive. He goes straight at guys. There is none of this dipsy-do stuff that ends up getting you on your back with no foul call. He goes straight into the defender. His ability to go that half-step, it was nasty watching him get into the lane against guys that are nearly a foot taller than him and convert. RJ does it as well, but Cadeau is a freshman. He’s finding his way. He said he has to work on his shot. But good gracious, man, I truly think that was one thing that Leonard Hamilton and that Florida State team was not prepared for.”

“Armando’s decision to let the loose ball bounce in front of him late in the game and not go collect it is the only thing I have against him. That provides me with some information. It seems strange that he doesn’t understand it. Against Florida State, he hasn’t played particularly well. They have long guys. That being said, his defense has been crucial. Another crucial thing for this team was to avoid getting sucked into the chirping with De’Ante Green. If you got sucked into it, this game might have quickly gone south.
