Shaq Davis, a 2023 NFL Draft selection out of South Carolina State University, signed a contract with the New Orleans Saints. Rather than playing in any games during his rookie season, Davis was a member of the Saints practice squad. The South Carolina State Bulldogs’ 2021 Celebration Bowl MVP had a standout collegiate career. With 116 receptions, 2,452 yards, and 25 touchdowns, Davis
touchdowns in his professional career. He received letters for four years as well. Although Devonta Smith and AJ Brown head the Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver group, there is still plenty of space for a budding talent to shine.
