Tennessee State found athletes through the transfer portal with little difficulty. Connor Meadows, a former offensive lineman for the University of Tennessee, is driving west on I-40 to join the Tigers for the upcoming season. Meadows attended the University of Tennessee for two years before transferring to Tennessee State.
After appearing in just one game as a freshman in 2022, he was placed on the redshirt list. He played in just one game for the Volunteers last season, so it was more of the same. In 2022, Meadows became Tennessee’s preferred walk-on.
